Finally - Season 4 Bout 1, April 10!
Need some recovery from your Olympic hangover? Well, the wait is over, Vancouver. Your Terminal City Rollergirls are back in action at Kerrisdale Arena on Saturday, April 10.
The Riot Girls/Bad Reps rivalry will be awakened from its slumber, and the Faster Pussycats will claw up the unsuspecting Atomic City Rollergirls from Tri-Cities, WA! This is some girl-on-girl action you do NOT want to miss.
Doors open at 5pm, whistle blows at 6pm. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door for adults, $10 for kids 6-12, and as always, kids under 6 are free! Advance tickets are available from your friendly neighbourhood rollergirl, or online at Brown Paper Tickets.

Fresh Meat Diary #3: And then there were 21...
Okay... so they're not really fresh, anymore. Now that they've finally had a chance to stop and breathe, some of TCRG's newest rookies are ready to tell you what their journey was like.
Our latest entry comes from new Riot Girl Flux Hellsity.
A few short months ago a conversation with an old friend led me to derby. Before long this sport had reeled me in hook, line and sinker. The goal: learn to skate as fast and furiously as the veterans, to hit and be hit with full force. Eventually making the cut and getting drafted onto a TCRG team! I know, it sounds crazy … What if you get hurt? You are no spring chicken toots, and derby is ruthless!
Not-So-Fresh Meat
Derby Christmas is over, and the teams have welcomed in a new batch of no-longer-so-fresh meat. We're so psyched about these rookies. Great work girls!

All We Want for Christmas is... Meat
Wishing you had been able to see the Faster Pussycats' 104-81 win over the Fairbanks Rollergirls? Kicking yourself for missing the Bad Reputations' nail biting 101-100 loss to Eugene's Flat Track Furies? Don't be too hard on yourself... below, Sevrin Strychnine fills you in on the very, very good things coming your way at TCRG's first bout of the season on April 10th.
There is a Christmas long awaited by all derby veterans in the league, but it’s not in December. It’s Derby Christmas, when the TCRG teams get to draft their new rookies from our juicy Fresh Meat.
Near the end of TCRG's fresh meat bootcamp, there is a coming out party where the veterans get to meet the fresh meat and throw them a party. Each team gets to put up a challenge for the rookies and spend the night compromising some morals. The festivities this year were very impressive and the veterans can't wait to sink their hooks into the meat.
The countdown is on. Derby Christmas happens this week... and you should be excited, too! We can’t wait to get these gals onto our teams to bring you an even bette great season of hard hits, close matches, and all the derby Vancouver can handle!
